We welcome everyone to the FESTIVAL LAUNCH in the crypt of Kulturkirken Jakob, where VoxLAB's founder Kristin Norderval will introduce this year's festival and present the program. There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists and get information about the festival.

The festival opens in the crypt with Mariam Gviniashvili's sound installation "Lotsva" (Prayer). The audience can also experience Gviniashvili´s sound installation during the break and after the main programme. After “Lotsva” we move upstairs to the sanctuary for performances of new works for voice and visual projection by Mariam Gviniashvili and Natasha Barrett, the latter performed by Silje Aker Johnsen, followed by the Norwegian premieres of stage works by composers from Germany, Iran and Poland performed by the internationally renowned German singer Sophia Körber.

The program is curated in collaboration with EAU - Electric Audio Unit.
