“Narsiss” - Smölg Trio!

The piece we have created has a starting point that goes into improvisation. It's a clear melody that compliments the backing and harmonica. As we in the improvisation part go out into a more abstract landscape, then come back to the melody.

Smølg Trio is a vocal group consisting of Jakob Leirvik, Ingeborg Sollid and Zakarias Meyer Øverli. The trio appeared at the jazz line in Trondheim on the occasion of a concert at PØKK (concert series for improvised music in Trondheim). They sing self-composed music in an impressionistic landscape that draws inspiration from the legends Meredith Monk and Bobby McFerrin.
